Role: Shift Engineer Location: Manchester Shifts: Double Days Salary: £46,000 Private health and Dental care, healthy pension The Company My client are a systems integration business in the warehousing industry. They design, manufacture, build and maintain automation for their customers and are looking for a site engineer to join the team at their newest site in Manchester. My client are an industry leader in their respective industry and have sites all across the UK and Europe. They have been working in the UK for over 20 years. This site in Manchester has had more then £8 million invested to be able to get the site as slick as possible. The Role As a Shift Engineer your day to day responsibilities will include: Standard PPM tasks working alongside the CMMS on site via your tablet Reactive maintenance responding to any breakdowns on site on machinery such as Conveyor systems, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment, valves pumps and more Your electrical tasks will include working in panels, confidently fault finding using multi meters, working with sensors, relays, contacts, swapping like for like components Mechanically your tasks will include working on belts, bearings, rollers, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, mechanical installation work and a bit of pipe work This opportunity includes the chance to be able to grow with the site as it gets busier The Candidate As a Shift Engineer we are looking for: A recognised engineering qualification Be able to work confidently electrically and mechanically as you will be operating independently Have experience and exposure working independently and performing under pressure Package and Benefits As a Shift Engineer you will receive: An annual salary of £64,000 Private health care and Dental care Great opportunity to grow with the site and develop knowing the site down to a T Exciting internal progression opportunities and training budget provided 33 days holiday a year ATA is committed to creating a diverse workforce and is an equal opportunities employer.
