Overview
Electrical Engineering Supervisor – Food Manufacturing at JSK Recruiting, Inc. This is a hands-on leadership role focused on managing electrical systems and automation across a high-speed food facility. You’ll supervise a team of electricians and take the lead on troubleshooting PLCs, programming HMIs, and improving plant-wide control systems. This is a floor-facing role that blends technical depth with people management.
Base pay range
$120,000.00/yr - $140,000.00/yr

What You’ll Do
* Supervise and support a team of electricians during the first shift
* Troubleshoot electrical controls and automation issues on high-speed lines
* Modify and maintain PLC and HMI programs (Allen Bradley and FactoryTalk)
* Create and revise control schematics using AutoCAD Electrical
* Lead automation upgrades and support robotics, VFDs, and other controls hardware
* Work closely with maintenance, operations, and engineering on improvement projects
* Train your team and help level up their technical skills
* Ensure safe work practices and compliance with all electrical standards
What You’ll Bring
* 5+ years of hands-on experience in controls or electrical engineering in a food, beverage, CPG or closely related manufacturing site
* Leadership is a plus
* Strong working knowledge of Allen Bradley PLCs, FactoryTalk View, and HMI systems
* Previous leadership or supervisory experience strongly preferred
* BS degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering Technology, or related field or an equivalent of 10+ years of controls experience in a food environment
* Experience in AutoCAD Electrical and industrial networks is a plus
* Familiarity with high-speed packaging equipment and food safety standards is preferred
* Clear communicator who leads by example and earns team trust
