Your new roleAs Financial Controller, you will take full ownership of management accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting for the operations. Working closely with senior leadership, you will deliver accurate, timely financial insights to support strategic initiatives and business performance. You will also lead and develop a small but capable team.Your responsibilities will include: Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual management accounts in line with IFRS and US GAAP. Producing detailed variance analysis, insightful commentary, and gross margin reporting. Leading weekly forecasting cycles and the annual budgeting process. Driving cost control, overseeing credit control, and managing all costing activities. Managing, mentoring, and developing a local administration team while embedding improved ways of working. Supporting the implementation of a new finance system and enhancing existing processes. Preparing statutory accounts and supporting external audit requirements. Conducting financial analysis to support potential acquisitions. Delivering meaningful financial insights to senior leadership to inform key decisions. Completing ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting as required. What you’ll need to succeedTo thrive in this Financial Controller position, you will bring: A recognised professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA, or equivalent). A minimum of 2 years’ post-qualification experience in a similar role. Strong technical accounting knowledge; experience with IFRS and US GAAP is highly advantageous. A proven track record of delivering accurate management accounts and insightful analysis. Advanced Excel skills and strong proficiency across the MS Office suite. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to influence stakeholders. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing deadlines. A proactive, adaptable approach and the ability to work independently and collaboratively. Experience in system implementations or process improvement initiatives (desirable).
