Job Overview Job Overview We are looking for a discreet and experienced Clerk to support the Governing Body at The Westgate School. The successful candidate will have excellent organisation and communication skills together with a proactive approach. Role - The Clerk To The Governing Board Will Provide advice to the governing board on governance, constitutional and procedural matters. Regulations require governing bodies to have regard to advice from the clerk in regards to exercising the governing board functions. Provide effective administrative support to the governing board and its committees. Ensure the governing board is properly constituted. Manage information effectively in accordance with legal requirements. 10 hours per month all year (subject to negotiation) NJC Level 8 (Pts 36-41) starting at £25.02 per hour (£48,277 FTE) Applications (by application form, CV and covering letter) are invited as soon as possible and we will interview as suitable applications are received.
