Senior Partner – Business Development – Banking and Financial Services (BFS)
Position Overview:
We are a digital-first technology services company, supported by two leading private equity firms: Goldman Sachs Asset Management and Everstone Capital. As a midsize IT services company backed by private equity, we combine the agility of a smaller firm with the extensive capabilities of a large enterprise, delivering robust solutions and exceptional service. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Hunter to drive new business and growth within the Banking and Financial Services (BFS) sector. A key focus of this role will be to sell Apexon’s high-impact Data & Analytics services—a strategic growth area helping financial institutions transform through data modernization, AI/ML, and regulatory technology (RegTech). The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the BFS industry, a proven track record of winning new business, and the ability to develop strategic relationships with key decision-makers. This role demands an innovative mindset, exceptional sales skills, and a strong technical foundation. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a very entrepreneurial-driven culture, exhibit high values and ethical work practices, and have experience in a fast-paced environment. Experience working in a private equity-led firm would be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities:
In this hunter role, you will be responsible for driving new business acquisition within the BFS sector, focusing on large, strategic accounts. You’ll develop and execute sales strategies, manage a robust pipeline, and lead high-value deal negotiations. This role requires strong client engagement, solution selling, and collaboration across delivery, marketing, and pre-sales teams to ensure smooth execution using global and onsite-offshore delivery models.
Qualifications:
We’re looking for a high-performing sales leader with a proven track record in BFS business development. A strong understanding of the industry landscape and experience in selling data, analytics, AI/ML, and digital transformation solutions is preferred. The ideal candidate brings deep client relationships, strong communication skills, and a growth mindset— ideally developed in fast-paced, entrepreneurial, or private equity-led environments.
