Overview
As a Senior Practitioner, you will supervise and support a team of Social Workers working with adults aged 18+ who receive commissioned services. Youll oversee statutory reviews and reassessments, ensuring that care and support plans reflect changing needs and promote independence and wellbeing. Youll play a key role in maintaining high standards of practice, supporting performance and budgetary objectives, and contributing to the development of a strengths-based, outcome-focused approach across the service.
Responsibilities
* Supervise and manage a team of social workers, providing professional guidance and reflective supervision
* Assist the Team Lead in the day-to-day management of the team
* Oversee statutory assessment, monitoring, and review processes
* Ensure quality assurance and compliance with legislation and departmental policies
* Support performance monitoring and contribute to budgetary oversight
Qualifications and Requirements
£46,142 - £48,226 per year. Are you an experienced Social Worker ready to take the next step in your career? We're looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Senior Practitioner to join our Review & Reassessment Team within Adult Services. Were seeking a qualified and registered Social Worker with substantial post-qualification experience. You'll have a strong understanding of adult social care legislation, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to collaborative working and continuous improvement.
