We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our friendly primary school team in the DH7 area of County Durham. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting children’s learning and development, and who enjoys working as part of a collaborative school community.
Role:
* Supporting teachers in delivering high-quality lessons across the primary age range
* Working with individuals and small groups of pupils to provide additional support where needed
* Assisting with classroom management and maintaining a positive learning environment
* Supporting children with a range of abilities, including those with special educational needs
* Helping to prepare resources and contribute to the wider life of the school
We are looking for someone who:
* Has experience of working with children (ideally in a school setting)
* Is patient, caring, and committed to helping every child succeed
* Works well as part of a team and shows initiative
* Holds relevant qualifications (Level 2 or 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning, or equivalent)
