Ecommerce Manager (Fixed-Term Contract – Peak Trading Period)

About the Role:
We're seeking a commercially driven Ecommerce Manager
to join our team on a
fixed-term contract
to support two fast-growing
Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) food brands
Cheshire Cheese Company and Eatlean during our busiest trading period (Q4 through to February This is a critical time for our business, and we need a hands-on, analytical and agile e-commerce expert to help us execute trading and promotional activity across all digital channels.
Key Responsibilities:
Trading & Performance Optimisation:
Monitor and analyse key trading metrics (conversion rate, AOV, basket size) to drive performance and support decision-making.
Promotional Campaign Execution:
Support the planning and delivery of peak trading campaigns (Black Friday, Christmas, January Sale), ensuring alignment with wider brand plans.
Cross-Channel Coordination:
Collaborate with creative, CRM, and paid media functions to ensure consistent promotional messaging across all digital touchpoints.
Site Content & Merchandising:
Manage site updates, merchandising and category optimisation to reflect campaign activity and maximise conversion.
Customer Journey & CX Alignment:
Partner with operations and customer service to ensure a seamless end-to-end experience during high-volume trading periods.
Performance Reporting & Insights:
Deliver weekly trading reports and campaign performance analysis, sharing insights to guide further optimisations.
Requirements:
* Proven experience in an e-commerce trading or digital marketing role, ideally within a fast-paced DTC or FMCG brand.
* Strong commercial acumen with a deep understanding of online trading levers and customer behaviour.
* Experience managing online stores and using GA4, Klaviyo (or similar tools), and Meta/Google Ads reporting.
* Ability to interpret data, spot trends, and make informed trading decisions quickly.
* Highly organised and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple campaigns and priorities.
* Strong communication and collaboration skills – comfortable working across multiple teams and stakeholders.

September or October through to February 2026

Nice to Have:
* Experience working across multiple brands or managing multi-site e-commerce environments.
* Experience in FMCG brands offering DTC subscriptions.
