Job Title: SEN Teacher (Ages 13+) - Full-Time Location: Chorley, Lancashire Contract Type: Full-Time, Term-Time Only Role Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced SEN Teacher to join a specialist provision in Chorley, supporting students aged 13 and above with sensory needs. The successful candidate will deliver a tailored, engaging curriculum that meets each student's unique learning requirements, fostering independence, confidence, and a love of learning. Key Responsibilities Plan and deliver differentiated lessons across core and foundation subjects for students with sensory needs Support students' individual EHCP targets and personalised learning plans Create a structured, inclusive, and sensory-friendly learning environment Assess, track, and report pupil progress effectively Collaborate with TAs, SENCOs, and external professionals to meet student needs Promote students' social, emotional, and behavioural development Adapt teaching approaches to suit varying abilities and sensory requirementsRequirements QTS/QTLS (essential) Proven experience teaching secondary-aged students with SEN, particularly sensory needs Strong understanding of conditions such as ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and sensory processing differences Ability to deliver lessons across multiple subjects and adapt teaching methods effectively Calm, nurturing approach and excellent classroom management skills Enhanced DBS (or willingness to ob...
