About the Role
Butlin's has been creating wonderful holiday memories since 1936. An integral part of this has always been our fantastic entertainment. The Support Stage Manager will oversee the smooth running of technical entertainment, coordinating the LX/AV/Sound/Stage teams.
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead, coordinate, and implement training and development for the technical support team in STAGE/AV/LX/AUDIO.
2. Liaise with stage-based performance content to ensure delivery as directed.
3. Support visiting artistes and acts on stage and in dressing rooms.
4. Coordinate, plan, and operate daily venue activities.
5. Ensure high standards in all shows and evaluate technical delivery quality.
6. Maintain up-to-date technical specifications and documentation.
7. Collaborate with Stage Managers and Technical teams to create the desired atmosphere for events.
8. Implement systems and procedures for technical equipment upkeep and maintenance.
9. Back up all files and media accurately.
10. Develop a robust cover program for show operations.
11. Create development and succession plans for technical team growth.
