Astute's Power Team are looking for an Electrical Supervisor to join a sub-contractor on a major Power Generation project located in Essex. Having won the Electrical Package on site, they are looking to hire an Electrical Supervisor to deliver the installation and commissioning of the electrical equipment on site. Responsibilities and duties of the Electrical Supervisor role Reporting to the Project Manager, you will be responsible for: Overseeing and management all on-site electrical installation activities. Coordinate with the main contractor, client representatives, and internal teams to ensure timely and quality delivery. Lead site teams, ensuring compliance with HSE regulations and project specifications. Manage materials, sub-contractors, and progress reporting. Ensure testing and commissioning preparation aligns with project milestones. Professional qualifications We are looking for someone with the following: SMSTS (or equivalent), CSCS/ECS, Current and valid first aid qualifications desirable. Level 3 qualification in Electrical Engineering or similar Personal skills The Electrical Supervisor role would suit someone who has: Proven experience managing electrical works on large-scale industrial or power generation projects. Strong understanding of HV/LV systems, cable routing, containment, and instrumentation. Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
