The Role
* Lead the preparation and delivery of the monthly management accounts pack
* Balance sheet reconciliations, variance analysis, and key financial insights.
* Spearhead talks with investors by delivering confident presentations.
* Oversee supplier payments, ensuring accuracy, efficiency is maintained
* Work to company deadlines
* Manage and develop a small team of two Management Accountants
* Drive commercial decision–making through detailed financial analysis
* Work closely with other departments
* Take ownership of financial controls
* Stock taking and auditing returns
* Work to the continuous improvement of the wider business
The Candidate
The ideal Financial Controller will be:
* A qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or equivalent with strong commercial acumen
* Ideally from an FMCG background
* Be an advanced MS Excel user
