As a Finning Engineer, you’ll be responsible for: Responding to customer service requests and diagnosing equipment issues. Providing detailed information to customers and creating quotes efficiently. Estimating arrival times and communicating effectively with site management. Diagnosing equipment problems using specialized tools and collaborating with customer operators. Identifying and requisitioning necessary parts for repairs. Performing repairs and service work on a variety of Caterpillar engines and generators. What We’re Looking For
To thrive in this role, you should have: Driving License:
LDV driving license is essential. Experience:
Significant experience as a service engineer or equivalent. Technical Knowledge:
Familiarity with gas and diesel engines, generators (both LV and HV). Diagnostic Skills:
Proficiency in using field-based diagnosis tools. Assembly Experience:
Knowledge of assembly and disassembly of diesel engines and components. Formal Training:
NVQ Level 3 preferred. Working Conditions
