General Description:
Ocean Winds is expanding its operational footprint and is seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to lead the oversight and delivery of long-term Operations & Maintenance (O&M) contracts across its UK portfolio. This role will ensure commercial excellence, contractual compliance, and strategic alignment with the company’s objectives:
* Act as the principal point of contact for all contractual and commercial matters related to O&M agreements.
* Ensure Ocean Winds meets its obligations under existing O&M contracts, maintaining high standards of service delivery and compliance.
* Proactively manage risk, drive operational efficiency, and cultivate strong, collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners.
* Lead the preparation and management of budgets, service proposals, and contract variations, with regular reporting on commercial performance and KPIs.
* Champion continuous improvement initiatives aimed at maximising contract value and delivering year-on-year performance gains.
* Contribute to the strategic development of the O&M and Asset Management function, including process optimisation, excellence programmes, and the implementation of asset management systems.
Required Academic and Professional Experience:
* Degree qualified in a contract, commercial, or business management discipline; equivalent professional experience or other relevant qualifications will also be considered.
* Proven experience managing complex contracts within a contractor environment, across multiple contract forms.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with exceptional organisational abilities and attention to detail.
* Knowledge of the offshore wind industry and experience with SPV governance structures.
* Demonstrated success in developing business, procurement, contract, and commercial strategies.
* Commercial acumen with experience in managing large-scale budgets and financial models.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage effectively with multidisciplinary stakeholders at all levels.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 software packages.
Languages:

Location:
This role is based at Ocean Winds’ UK office in Edinburgh, Scotland. As part of a global portfolio, occasional travel to domestic and international project sites will be required to support contract delivery and stakeholder engagement.
