The Vacancy Headline
I require a "weekend" shift carer/Personal Assistant, for live in shifts starting Thursday 6:30pm to 8am Monday Morning. This could be every week, or alternating if two applicants want to split the month. Each Thursday to Monday shift pays £674.18 before Tax, NI and Pension deductions.

Flexibility to cover other staff shifts if necessary.
About Me:
I'm 41 years old and lead an active lifestyle. My interests are varied, and I m usually happy to give most things a go! I currently work four days a week for a leading structural engineering company. Additionally, I run my own business and manage a communication aid company during my free day, evenings, and weekends.
In my spare time, I enjoy going to the cinema, attending gigs and festivals, and spending time with friends and colleagues. My friends are friendly, welcoming, and always keen to involve my PA in our activities. I also appreciate quieter evenings relaxing at home, enjoying a takeaway and a good film with a bottle of wine.
What type of person I'm looking for
I m looking for a PA/carer who is comfortable with a role that's sometimes unpredictable, as I often plan things spontaneously. It s quite typical for me to text with a few days notice about a weekend away I love to travel and experience new places. Previous trips with PAs have included New York, London, Paris, Brussels, Italy, and Japan. These adventures aren't everyday occurrences, but it's helpful if you enjoy occasional spontaneity and travel.
I'm less concerned about your previous care experience what really matters is that we get along well. We'll likely be spending plenty of time together in various social settings, so compatibility is important.
The personal care involved isn't medically complex, and I'll always clearly explain what's needed. As long as you re willing to listen, learn, and approach the role positively, you'll find the tasks straightforward.
My key request is that you help maintain my flat to a good standard. I've experienced situations where carers overlooked basic domestic tasks, which are an important part of the role. I'm not excessively fussy, but I genuinely value a tidy, organised home where routine cleaning tasks are regularly completed.
If you are interested in the role, enjoy a challenge and would like more information or to apply please click the apply button.
I would also request that you include a paragraph or two about yourself, and what you like to do in the email, so I could get a picture of the sort of person I am employing.
Please tell me about your hobbies, current situation, what shift pattern you'd like and what you would like to get out of the job and what you think you can bring to the role that will make you stand out against the other applicants?
Unfortunately any responses without a CV and information about yourself will not be responded to.
Many thanks!
