We have an excellent and rewarding opportunity for a full-time or part-time experienced Sales Administrator to join a superb company who specialise in the design and conversion of vehicles for the leisure industry. There is never a dull moment in this enjoyable and varied role which is based in Skipton, North Yorkshire.
About the hours and rewards
In the role of Sales Administrator, the working hours are 37 per week full-time and flexible hours for part-time people.
1. The salary on offer is £23,000 to £24,000 per annum, pro rata
2. Holiday equivalent to 24 days plus Bank Holidays
About the role
There’s a great deal of pleasure in fulfilling customers dreams and when you see their faces as they open the door to their campervan, and it can make your day. As a Sales Administrator, you’ll work within a small office and the role involves:
3. 40% customer liaison (meet and greet, prepare quotations, finalise orders and building rapport with customers through the build)
4. 25% Purchasing and supplier/contractor liaison
5. 25% Assisting the MD with any of the other 101 tasks needed to keep a small business running!
6. 10% Accounts maintenance (primarily purchase ledger)

About the responsibilities
In the role of Sales Administrator, tasks will include:
7. Dealing with customer enquiries by email, phone and face to face in a professional and friendly manner
8. Demonstrate vehicle features to walk-in customers interested in purchasing
9. Assisting customers in selecting their preferred fittings and finishes
10. Liaising with the customer to communicate pricing and build time based on agreed specification
11. Invoicing final customer payments in advance of handover of completed vehicle
12. Checking stock availability and ordering components
13. Liaising with external service providers and suppliers
14. Liaising with the shop floor to ensure that the customers’ requirements are incorporated in the builds
15. Maintaining accurate and complete files of purchase and sales invoices
16. Attending occasional events and exhibitions
17. Producing final handover paperwork for the customer
About you
To be successful for the role of Sales Administrator, you’ll be flexible and willing to take on responsibility for a wide range of tasks in support of a small but growing business and you will have / be:

19. Experience as a Sales Administrator and/or as a PA
20. Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
21. The ability to work on your own initiative and plan your own working day
22. Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable manner
23. Professional, presentable and credible
24. IT literacy - able to use main MS Office packages.
25. A cheerful, can-do attitude.
26. Ideally you would hold a UK driving licence

The company was founded on the knowledge and experience of automotive engineers and the business deals mainly in the conversion of VW Transporter and Transit Custom vans to high specification Camper Vans and plans include expansion into a range of different types of leisure vehicle. They design, assemble and install furniture, heating systems and electrical subsystems to their vehicles, working closely with their customers to achieve exactly the specification they desire.
