We have an excellent opportunity to join a successful business where youll work on a variety of equipment including power presses, hydraulics, and advanced production machinery. This is a hands-on role requiring strong electrical and mechanical skills to keep operations running smoothly. The Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for: Performing planned and reactive maintenance across production machinery Diagnosing and repairing Mechanical and electrical faults, including PLC systems Maintaining hydraulic and pneumatic systems Supporting continuous improvement and minimising downtime Working collaboratively with production teams to ensure efficiency Skills and Experience required: Previous experience as a Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer Completed apprenticeship in Engineering (NVQ Level 3 or similar) 18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification PLC knowledge and electrical fault-finding expertise Experience with hydraulics and pneumatics Knowledge of presses, press tooling, rolling machines, laser cutting, spot welders, powder coating, conveyor systems would be advantageous Familiarity with CMMs systems and servo drives The application process: Our mission is to support our clients in their creation of an equal, diverse and inclusive workforce.
