The Role
We're looking for a hands-on, creative content lead to take ownership of short-form video production across one of the most exciting football-first media brands in the UK.
If you love football, know exactly what makes content pop in under 60 seconds, and enjoy being in the thick of it from pitch to post-production, this could be your perfect next step.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the Shorts strategy across YouTube, TikTok, Reels, and more, defining what we make, how we make it, and why people should care.
* Identify the moments worth clipping, scripting, or remixing, from matchday drama and behind-the-scenes chaos to funny team moments and viral trends.
* Work closely with editors, talent, and creators to plan, brief, and deliver reactive and original short-form content.
* Analyse performance metrics and audience feedback to test, learn, and iterate.
* Stay across cultural and platform trends to ensure we're always ahead of the curve.
* Collaborate with the long-form and social teams to create a joined-up content approach.
* Oversee creative quality and consistency, making sure every short reflects the brand and connects with our audience.
* Own the Shorts calendar and ensure a regular flow of content across platforms.
What We're Looking For
* Strong background in short-form content creation, especially for YouTube Shorts, TikTok, and Reels.
* Strong creative instincts with a deep understanding of what performs well and why.
* Passion for football and understanding of the audience, language, and energy of the sport.
* Confident leading content calendars, pitching ideas, and guiding editors/creators through briefs.
* Someone who thrives in a small, creative team where you wear multiple hats and run with ideas.
* Editing or scripting skills, or experience behind a camera/with studio-style production, are desirable.
