Offer description

Overview

Inclusion Partner (Project Manager) – Location: Can be based in Glasgow, Edinburgh, Team Valley, Warrington, Solihull or Leicester.

Are you an agile, self-driven Project Manager with a passion for people, culture, and inclusion? Galliford Try is on an exciting journey to embed EDI (Equity, Diversity and Inclusion) at the heart of everything we do. We are looking for a self-sufficient Inclusion Partner to join our Inclusion Team, someone who thrives on delivering projects with flexibility and precision, keeping the wheels turning while working closely with our Inclusion Lead.

What You’ll Do

* Lead the administration and project management of action plans supporting our Clear Assured Accreditation, Retain and Gain People Strategy, and Group Inclusion Strategy
* Coordinate internal and external Inclusion communications in partnership with the Group Communications team, including updating intranet and websites
* Deliver engaging inclusion training workshops to diverse audiences, from all employees to senior leaders
* Collaborate with multiple teams such as Communications, Project Directors, Social Value, wider HR, on inclusion-related projects
* Organise and coordinate Inclusion activities and quarterly Infrastructure Inclusion Working Group meetings
* Act as a responsive point of contact for Inclusion queries

What We’re Looking For

* A strong facilitator and educator, comfortable engaging diverse audiences both virtually and face-to-face
* A “can-do” attitude with a proactive, solution-focused approach
* Excellent communicator, able to adapt style to different stakeholders and situations
* Exceptional organisational and time management skills, with meticulous attention to detail
* Proven experience managing projects successfully, often against shifting priorities and tight deadlines
* Flexible and adaptable mindset, comfortable with change and ambiguity
* Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as collaboratively
* Skilled at building positive, productive relationships across a range of stakeholders
* Enthusiastic about Inclusion and eager to contribute to a culture of belonging
* Alignment with our values, ethics, and commitment to “Doing the Right Thing”

While specific EDI experience is beneficial, it is not essential. What matters most is your ability to project manage autonomously, keep communication flowing and deliver outcomes with agility and professionalism.

This is an office-based position, with ad hoc, low-volume travel, where we work 3-4 days per week in one of our offices or sites.

What We Can Offer

With an impressive order book of over £3.9 billion we are one of the industry’s leading principal contractors, offering stability and the chance to stretch your capabilities and realise long-held career goals. You will be joining diverse teams working at a high professional level with exceptional commitment. Our Agile Working programme provides flexibility in when, where and how you work, with site and office-based employees able to access a wide variety of working practices.

* Generous holiday entitlement, increasing with years of service
* A wide range of corporate discounts
* Cycle to Work schemes
* Comprehensive pension plan
* Regular Save as You Earn share purchase scheme
* Private medical scheme options and an employee assistance programme with 24/7 support
* Paid for yearly membership to a recognised professional association relevant to your role
