This is an opportunity to train as a secondary teacher through the
FULLY FUNDED PGCE at the Open University (2-year programme)
Full time Fixed term for 2 academic years
Salary Scale: Point 1 Unqualified Teacher Status +Teacher Pension
Ysgol Bro Caereinion is offering an exceptional opportunity to study a PGCE (QTS) through an employment-based partnership program (2 years) which is sponsored by the Welsh Government in collaboration with The Open University and Powys County Council. The school is fully committed to supporting the Welsh Government's campaign to widen access to teaching and diversify the profession.
The program is aimed at graduates who want to change careers or graduates who have experience of working in an environment with children and young people. This may include teaching assistants, learning coaches or youth officers who wish to progress in their career. Applications from candidates who are in their final year at university are also welcome.
