On behalf of our growing medical-tech client, we are delighted to be recruiting for a full-time, permanent Executive Assistant to support the Owner/Managing Director. This role is predominantly office-based in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire, with some flexibility to work from home 1 day per week. Salary: £40,000–£45,000 depending on experience.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a thriving organisation at a time of growth as they expand their product lines and explore new revenue streams. They are seeking an EA who is not only passionate about providing exceptional support but also eager to grow with the company long term.
Working as a confidante and sounding board, you will ensure the Managing Director's day-to-day operations run seamlessly while supporting long-term business objectives. The role is both varied and impactful, blending business and personal support (approximately 70:30). On the business side, you will manage a complex schedule, facilitate key meetings, and provide operational support to keep priorities on track. You will also be instrumental in decision-making processes, helping maintain focus on company goals.
Key Responsibilities
As Executive Assistant and right hand to the Managing Director, you will:
* Manage the Managing Director's calendar, schedule and prepare meetings.
* Act as a trusted point of contact, ensuring effective communication across the leadership team.
* Support commercial partnerships in the UK and overseas.
* Handle correspondence, draft documents and manage contracts.
* Prepare agendas, minutes, reports, spreadsheets, and action trackers.
* Provide HR support (recruitment, confidential staff matters, appraisals, reports).
* Support with light-touch Health & Safety responsibilities.
* Manage expenses, purchase orders, filing systems, team holiday planning and events.
* Balance both professional and personal requirements with the highest discretion.
