We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Post Office & Shop Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a passion for providing excellent customer service.
Duties
* Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products within the shop.
* Maintain an organised and tidy shop environment, ensuring shelves are well-stocked and displays are appealing.
* Handle customer queries and provide information about products, promotions, and services.
* Process transactions accurately at the till, ensuring a smooth checkout experience for customers.
* Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and enhance customer satisfaction.
* Assist in inventory management, including receiving deliveries and conducting stock checks.
* Promote special offers and new products to customers effectively.
* Process Post Office transactions, helping customers with their various needs, from pension, to postal, to travel money.
Qualifications
* Previous experience in retail or customer service is preferred but not essential.
* Strong communication skills in English.
* Ability to work well within a team as well as independently.
* A friendly disposition with a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
* Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends if required.
Job Types: Part-time, Zero hours contract
Pay: £12.21-£14.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 35 per week
