Your new role
As a Supervisor on this major motorway project, you will oversee day‑to‑day site operations, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with project specifications. You’ll coordinate teams, manage subcontractors, monitor progress, and maintain high standards of quality andpliance. Your responsibilities will include planning works, conducting site inspections, resolving operational issues, and ensuring all activities adhere to strict safety and environmental procedures. You’ll play a key role in keeping the project on track and supporting the delivery of essential maintenance and improvement works across the network.
What you’ll need to succeed
1. Proven experience in a supervisory role within highways, civil engineering, or infrastructure projects
2. Strong understanding of CDM regulations, site safety, and quality standards
3. Excellentmunication and leadership skills, with the ability to coordinate teams and subcontractors
4. Ability to interpret drawings, method statements, and risk assessments
5. A proactive approach to problem‑solving and decision‑making
6. Relevant industry qualifications (, SSSTS/SMSTS, NRSWA, or equivalent)
7. Amitment to maintaining a safe andpliant working environment
