We are seeking a proactive and commercially driven Overseas Customer Account Manager to join our clients dynamic sales team. This is a pivotal role for a confident and experienced sales professional who thrives on building strong customer relationships.
As a key member of the Commercial department, you will take full ownership of customer engagement within your designated territories-managing all aspects of the sales cycle from initial contact to long-term account development. You'll be instrumental in helping us achieve our ambitious growth targets while representing our brand with professionalism and integrity.
🔑 Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers through regular on-site visits, calls, and written communication
Identify and pursue new business opportunities with both existing and prospective clients in your assigned regions
Collaborate with group companies to expand business reach and leverage cross-functional opportunities
Stay informed on industry trends and customer processes to provide tailored solutions and insights
Submit detailed visit reports to inform internal stakeholders and support strategic planning
Manage the full sales process-from handling enquiries and preparing quotations to processing orders for both contracts and spare parts
Liaise with internal departments to ensure accurate and timely communication with customers
Contribute to team sales targets and support the development of the company's sales and marketing strategy
Provide accurate sales forecasts and market intelligence to support business planning
🎯 What We're Looking For
Essential:
Substantial experience in a sales or account management role, ideally with international exposure
Strong commercial awareness and a proven ability to meet or exceed revenue targets
Willingness and ability to travel independently, including overseas
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills-able to build rapport quickly and professionally
Highly organised, self-motivated, and capable of managing multiple priorities
Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable using CRM or sales order processing systems
Trustworthy, detail-oriented, and confident in customer-facing situations
Desirable:
Experience in a technical or engineering-related industry
Familiarity with sales order processing software
Degree in Business Administration, Sales, or a Technical discipline
Additional language skills
Strong analytic skills and ability to remain calm under pressure
