Our Aseptic Services department manufacture life-saving cancer chemotherapy drugs. Throughout the 12 month placement, as an Aseptic Laboratory Technician, your responsibilities will include, though will not be limited to: Maintaining stock of sterile medicines, containers and consumables Supplying stock to Compounding Technicians to begin the manufacturing process Cleaning and decontaminating all areas within the sterile laboratory Stock replenishment Supporting the packaging and despatch of compounded (finished) products As with all Group employees, you'll also be asked to: Ensure the work you do is of a high standard and that Group procedures and policies are followed. Act as an ambassador for the business, presenting the Group in a positive way with clients, customers and colleagues. Work flexibly and efficiently to meet customer needs, whilst maintaining the highest possible professional standards. Maintain confidentiality and security at all times. To be successful in this role, you should be able to demonstrate: Currently attending University studying a scientific related discipline. Experience working within in a clean room environment (preferred, not essential) Some knowledge of, or interest in, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) A supportive nature - and good team-playing mentality Capable of working towards KPIs Excellent communication skills The ability to work at pace and in a high-pressured environment Hours of work: 40 hours per week between our core business hours of 0500 – 23.00 Monday – Sunday Shift patterns will include the below on rotation: Week one: Monday – Thursday 06.00 - 15.00, Friday 07.00 – 16.00 Week two: Sunday 07.00 – 16.00, Monday – Thursday 13.00 - 22.00 Proposed start date for role(s): 01.07.2024
