Opportunity for JCFs (FY3 Doctor equivalent) Locally Employed Doctors
An exciting opportunity has arisen for JCFs (FY3 Doctor equivalent) Locally Employed Doctors to join our friendly, enthusiastic team at Queens Hospital, Burton on Trent, part of University Hospitals Derby and Burton NHS Foundation Trust (UHDB).
The UHDB Haematology service currently provides care up to Level 2b (BCSH 2010), with plans for a shared care arrangement, including repatriating autologous stem cell transplant patients at day +1, in the near future.
This is a 12-month fixed-term post for a JCF/FY3 doctor based at Queens Hospital in Burton, with a requirement to work across other UHDB sites as needed. There may be an extension depending on service needs.
We are seeking full-time JCF / FY3 doctors in Haematology. No prior experience is required as full on-the-job training will be provided. As part of a multidisciplinary team, you will collaborate with consultants, specialist registrars, and nurse specialists to deliver comprehensive clinical and laboratory services for patients.
Haematology is a vital area of medicine. Experience gained in this role will be invaluable for careers in medicine, general surgery, and paediatrics.
Applicants must have full GMC registration with a licence to practice at the time of application, along with at least 12 months of work experience within a UK setting (clinical attachments/shadowing not included).

Roles and Responsibilities
* Support and provide daily care for Haematology patients on wards
* Perform administrative duties related to Haematology services
* Participate in teaching, training, quality improvement, audit, and research activities
* Maintain up-to-date professional development and participate in annual appraisals
