A well-established and growing automation business is seeking a skilled ABB Robotics Engineer to join its dynamic projects team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced engineer to take ownership of robotic automation projects from design through to commissioning.

Key Responsibilities:
* Design and develop robotic automation systems using ABB robots (primarily IRC5 controlled).
* Program and simulate systems using ABB RobotStudio.
* Perform on-site commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting.
* Integrate robots with PLCs, vision systems, and sensors.
* Diagnose and resolve electrical, mechanical, and software-related issues.
* Collaborate closely with engineering teams on system integration.
* Produce and maintain technical documentation.
* Support clients and operators with technical training.
* Contribute to process improvements in automation and manufacturing.
Required Skills and Experience:
* Degree or diploma in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or a related field.
* Minimum of 3 years' experience working with ABB robotics systems.
* Proficient in the ABB RAPID programming language.
* Strong working knowledge of RobotStudio and IRC5 architecture.
* Excellent troubleshooting abilities and attention to detail.
* Ability to interpret mechanical and electrical schematics.
