Project Manager
We are seeking a skilled Project Manager to lead multiple project managers and teams in executing duties in a professional manner to build team and customer confidence. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing leadership, drive, discipline, and support to direct reports, other team members, and customers.
* Provide direction, guidance, advice, support, commitment, effort, and dedication as required to direct reports, other team members, and customers.
* Ensure Health and Safety is the most important element by working within all set procedures.
* Undertake site supervisor role when required, in accordance with the CDM regulations, including control of Customer appointed contractors and/or company appointed sub contract labour.
* Efficiently execute project management role on multiple projects running concurrently while managing team of Project Managers.
* Oversee tasks and task types allocated to others in pursuit of effective project delivery.
Key responsibilities include:
* Resource control: undertaking organisation, control, and deployment of materials/equipment/labour resources for upcoming works on range of projects running concurrently.
* Good commercial awareness and completion of valuations against set scope.
* Keep safe and maintain all company property issued, ensure it is routinely PAT or calibration tested, and bring to the company's attention any items that are not of serviceable nature in timely manner.
* Production of as built records, test results, updated drawings, and reports for projects.
We're looking for someone with:
* HNC/Degree in Electrical Engineering (and/or time served).
* Good operational knowledge of electrical power distribution systems.
* Site safety passport and/or experience of working on CDM sites.
* SSSTS OR SMSTS desirable, but not essential.
* Possession of SSE DNO authorisation to receive and cancel PTW (or alternative equivalent DNO authorisation i.e. SPEN, NPg, UKPN).
