Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Injection Moulding Setter to join our dynamic team. tHE Successful candidate must have proven experience in injection moulding and hold IMT Level 3 (or equivalent) qualifications. This is non-negotiable given the nature of our operations.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing their own shift, supported by:
* 6 operators
* 1 material handler (managing all materials across the presses)
* 1 team leader (handling labour allocation and operator support such as packaging)
The setter will be expected to focus on
* Processing and optimising the machines
* Minimising downtime
* Ensuring quality standards are consistently met
We operate a wide range of presses and materials, supplying into multiple sectors. The setter must therefore be comfortable working independently, making technical decisions, and maintaining a high standard of performance across varied processes.

Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Injection Moulding Setter to join our team The ideal candidate will be responsible for the setup, maintenance, and operation of injection moulding machines, ensuring that they run efficiently and produce high-quality products. This role requires in-depth knowledge and experience in the injection moulding sector.
Hours:
We operate 24/5 therefore the role is shift work with three rotating weekly shifts, Monday to Thursday:
* 6am-2pm
* 2pm-10pm
* 10pm-6am
Fridays are the following:
* 6am-1pm
* 1pm-8pm
* 8pm-3am
Pay: (Dependant on experience level)
* 6am-2pm = £16.78 per hour
* 2pm-10pm= £17.37 per hour
* 10pm-6am= £18.34 per hour
* Holiday pay= £17.50 per hour

Responsibilities
* Set up and operate machinery for fabrication and assembly tasks
* Utilise programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to manage machine operations
* Create and modify designs using SolidWorks and CAD software
* Perform milling operations with precision
* Handle materials efficiently, ensuring proper storage and organisation
* Use hand tools effectively for assembly and repairs
* Conduct regular maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance
* Collaborate with team members to meet production targets
* Follow safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment
Experience
The ideal candidate will possess:
* Proven experience in fabrication, assembly, or a related field
* Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and their applications
* Proficiency in SolidWorks and CAD software for design purposes
* Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience using hand tools
* Background in materials handling and tooling processes
* Basic mathematical skills for measurements and calculations
* Previous warehouse experience is advantageous
* Welding skills are a plus
