Overview
South Lanarkshire Leisure and Culture are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our team of Lifeguards at South Lanarkshire Lifestyles, Eastfield. You will be responsible to the Duty Officer for the daily operation of the Centre, undertaking a range of duties including pool supervision and cleaning.
Location: South Lanarkshire Lifestyles Eastfield, 101 Glenside Drive, Eastfield, Rutherglen
Hours: 35 hours per week
Shift Pattern: 3 week shift pattern
Week 1: Monday, Tuesday 1.45pm - 9.30pm, Thursday, Friday 6.15am - 2pm, Saturday 6.45am - 4.45pm
Week 2: Tuesday 1.45pm - 9.30pm, Wednesday 1.15pm - 9.30pm, Thursday, Friday 1.45pm - 9.30pm
Week 3: Monday, Tuesday 6.15am - 2pm, Wednesday 6.15am - 3.30pm, Thursday 1.45pm - 9.30pm
Duration: Fixed Term until 31 March 2026
Salary and Benefits
Salary: £13.64 - £13.79 per hour

Responsibilities
* Supervision of pool activities
* To carry out cleaning to meet defined standards
* To ensure facilities and equipment are safe and secure in accordance with procedures
Requirements
* A current Pool Lifeguard qualification is essential
* A first aid certificate
* Previous experience is desirable
