Social Worker - Children's Disability Practice Team We are looking for creative and enthusiastic practitioners who are committed to high standards of practice and delivering the best outcomes for young people and families. The post holder must have a degree or diploma in Social Work. There is an expectation that our social workers will have knowledge and ideally experience in both of these. The post covers working with children with a disability and their families, including holding cases on a statutory basis or due to child protection concerns. We also work with children who are Looked After, including those who are Looked After and Accommodated. Practitioners in our team need to have experience of completing assessments of need and risk. This post is regulated work with children and/or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. Where an individual has spent a continuous period of 3 months or more out with the UK in the last 5 years, an Overseas Criminal Record Check will be required.
