An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated and enthusiastic Registered Nurse or Midwife to undertake the duties of Public Protection Nurse Advisor (Child) within the Public Protection Service. The post holder will provide expert knowledge and guidance to NHS Borders staff on Public Protection matters. The role involves working as part of a team including Nurse Consultant Public Protection, Public Protection Nurse Advisors (Child and Adult Protection), Lead Paediatrician, and multi-agency partners.
The ideal candidate should have in-depth knowledge of policy and legislation related to Child and/or Adult Support and Protection, with recent practical experience.
Requirements for the role include:
* Registered Nurse or Midwife with a first-level degree
* Postgraduate qualification and expertise in the relevant specialty
* Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills
* Broad experience in child protection and partnership working across agencies
