Salary: £30,000 per annum
Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, all year round

Your Role
As our dedicated Nursery Chef, you will play a vital role in nurturing our children’s growth by:
* Preparing, cooking, and presenting age-appropriate meals to the highest standards.
* Maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming kitchen environment.
* Collaborating with the nursery team and parents to enhance the overall care and educational experience.
* Keeping accurate records of supplies and managing orders within budget.

Key Responsibilities
As our Nursery Chef, you will:
* Ensure the kitchen is clean and safe, adhering to hygiene standards.
* Prepare and cook age-appropriate meals with minimal waste.
* Communicate dietary requirements clearly to the team.
* Work collaboratively with staff and parents to promote healthy eating.
* Manage food orders within budgetary constraints.
What You’ll Need
To thrive in this role, you should have:
* Sound knowledge of managing dietary requirements and food allergies (essential).
* Understanding of COSHH regulations (essential).
* Experience in cooking within a budget (essential).
* Relevant cooking qualifications and experience (essential).
* Fluency in written and spoken English (essential).
* A passion for cooking for young children (desirable).
