* Hands-on experience in DBA activities such as Data Maintenance, Authorization, Privileges, Backup, and Recovery.
* Experience in 24x7 operational support, troubleshooting, monitoring, and maintenance.
* Result-oriented, customer-focused, with good team relationships.
* At least 2 years of experience as a DB2 DBA on Mainframes.

Responsibilities include:
* Providing 24/7 production support.
* Developing solutions for application teams.
* Managing logical and physical partitioned databases.
* Data refreshes, DB2 V10 upgrades, quarterly disaster recovery activities, restorations, backups, and recoveries.
* Creating DB2 objects like databases, tablespaces, tables, views, and indexes.
* Supporting Windows applications like Philbert, WinSQL, and NLP.
* Supporting disaster recovery exercises and cataloging mainframe databases for open systems.
* Resolving user issues, managing access, working with partitioned tables, materialized query tables, and views.
* Performing frequent restorations, supporting DB2 tools, working with Q Replication, incident, and change management using HPSM.
