About The Role
As an Activities Co-ordinator at HC-One, kindness is at the core of everything you do. You will help Residents by planning and implementing activities based on their interests, supporting social interaction, and contributing to a positive, inclusive atmosphere. You may also assist with organising fundraising events and involve the wider care home team in activities.
Please note: This role could be full-time (40 hours per week) or part-time (20 hours per week). Shifts and hours are flexible and can be discussed at interview. You will work at Brinnington Hall as part of the HC-One team.
Responsibilities
* Plan and implement activities that delight Residents and support social interaction.
* Assist the Home Manager with organising fundraising events and engaging the care team in activities.
* Develop activity ideas based on Residents’ hobbies and interests.
* Communicate kindly and considerately with Residents and co-workers.
* Contribute to safeguarding by recognising signs of abuse, harm or neglect and following appropriate procedures; attend safeguarding training and undertake related development.
Qualifications and Skills
* Background in working with vulnerable individuals or developing activity programmes is preferred.
* Good planning, organisational, and IT skills; ability to manage time effectively.
* Positive energy and the ability to get along with people; respectful and kind communication.
