The post holder will assist the Topic Specialist (Competent Person) within the Trust in relation to fire safety issues with specific reference to Health Technical Memorandum 05 (Firecode) standards and meeting the requirements of the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005. To promote fire safety compliance throughout the Trust and ensure that all Trust premises maintain high standards of fire precautions. Advert The post holder will assist the the Fire Safety Manager to ensure that the Trust governance activities reflect national and local guidance initiatives in relation to fire safety requirements. The post holder will manage all appropriate polices, procedures, systems and arrangements are in place to support fire safety and that robust governance processes are in place to monitor the implementation and effectiveness of compliance within and across the Trust. To assist the Fire Safety Manager with professional input to all matters relating to fire prevention and response issues, affecting or likely to affect the running of the Trust. Maintain and develop specialist knowledge on relevant legislation and guidance.
