We are seeking a qualified electrician to cover the Cambridge, Peterborough and surrounding areas. This role is offered on a full‑time permanent basis. Salary: £40,000 - £45,000. Benefits include a van, tablet, and phone.
Responsibilities
* Perform remedial works, EICRs and PAT testing as required.
* Customer‑facing role: communicate with tenants, landlords and members of the public.
* Regular communication with the regional office for work management.
* Confidently carry out accurate EICR inspections, fault diagnosis, electrical remedial repairs and installation work.
Qualifications
* Demonstrable experience as an electrician with City & Guilds 2382 Level 3 Wiring Regulations 2382 – 18 (18th Edition).
* City & Guilds 2391, 2394 and 2395 are also essential.
* Previous experience in Domestic electrical work.
* Reliability, punctuality and never leaving customers waiting.
* Computer literate to complete electronic certification on the company’s online system – full training will be provided.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Valid full driving licence with no disqualification and live within a reasonable distance from the territory you will be covering.
* Must pass a DBS check.
* Optional: City & Guilds 2377 Electrical Equipment / Appliance maintenance and testing.
