Are you a passionate and experienced SEND Teaching Assistant looking to make a real difference? A warm and inclusive primary school in Aston is seeking a dedicated TA to support pupils with higher needs in a full-time role starting in September.
This is a rewarding opportunity to work closely with children who have a range of additional needs, including nonverbal communication and complex learning profiles. You'll be an essential part of a nurturing team, helping pupils engage, communicate and thrive in a classroom environment.
Your Role:
* Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with high-level SEND needs
* Support children with nonverbal communication using visual aids and structured routines
* Collaborate with the class teacher and SENCO to deliver personalised learning
* Encourage social development and build pupil confidence
* Adapt resources to meet individual needs
We're looking for someone with:
* A Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning, or equivalent
* Experience supporting children with SEN, particularly autism and communication needs
* A calm, patient and proactive approach
* Ability to follow EHCP targets and support strategies
* A calm, resilient, and patient approach
* A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs
