As a Scrub Practitioner/ Theatre Practitioner (ODP) at our hospital, you’ll be focused, detail-oriented empathetic with great communication skills. You’re registered with the appropriate governing body, and you bring the qualifications and experience relevant to your registration, including NMC or HCPC. With post-registration experience in Scrub roles within a Theatre environment, you’re a team player with a passion for exceptional patient care.
As a Scrub Practitioner or Theatre Practitioner (ODP), you will:
1. Work in a multi disaplinary team covering a varied patient caseload
2. Use state-of-the-art technology, equipment and facilities
3. Supervise, support and develop junior members of the team
4. Provide high-quality perioperative care in a multidisciplinary team setting
5. Create high-quality care and patient experiences that are clinically effective and evidence based
6. Have ample opportunities for continuous growth and personal development, which can include Surgical First Assist training.

Our purpose-build hospital has 39 bedrooms, 3 theatres and 1 minor treatment facility and busy outpatient department. We also provide physiotherapy, pathology, CT, MRI and diagnostic imaging services. We are conveniently located on Clayton Road, off the A519. We also provide free parking for staff.
