Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 FTE DOE
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Contract: Permanent (Term time only, or flexibility around full-time contract can be discussed based on personal circumstances)

Job title: Lead Clinician
Location: Norton College – Worcestershire
The Role
We are looking for a Lead Clinician to manage our in-house Clinical Team at Norton College, Worcester. The postholder will:
* Work collaboratively with the school’s Senior Leadership Team and the Regional Clinical Lead.
* Split time between clinically leading the team and maintaining a therapy caseload.
* Deliver bespoke assessment and intervention plans for students with complex profiles of need (autism and other neurodivergent conditions, developmental trauma, SEMH).
* Prioritise EHCP needs through OFG services and embedding group, individual, and all- and clinical practices.
* Coordinate line management of onsite clinical team members and lead on service development of the school-based clinical service with the SLT and Regional Clinical Lead.

Location
Norton College – Worcester (part of the Acorn Education brand). An independent specialist day school for young people aged 11–19.
Essential Criteria
* Allied health professional qualification or Psychotherapy/Clinical Psychology/Counselling Qualification
* Valid and up-to-date professional registration with a relevant body (e.g., BPS)
* Experience with autistic individuals and/or those with complex needs
* Clear and concise report writing for clinical and research activities
* Experience providing supervision and supporting a therapy team
* Ability to work independently and within a growing clinical service
* Experience of multi-professional work within the designated specialty (preferred)
* Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle
