Are you a passionate and creative Drama teacher looking for an exciting opportunity this autumn? We are seeking a dedicated Part-Time Drama Teacher to join our vibrant secondary school in Preston for a temporary contract running from October 1st to December 19th, 2025.
About the Role:
You’ll be responsible for delivering engaging and dynamic Drama lessons across KS3 and KS4. The successful candidate will inspire students to explore their creativity, develop confidence, and achieve their full potential in performance and theatre studies.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver high-quality Drama lessons in line with the national curriculum
* Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment
* Prepare students for assessments and end-of-term performances
* Work collaboratively with the Performing Arts department
* Provide constructive feedback and monitor student progress
About You:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
* Experience teaching Drama at secondary level (KS3/KS4)
* Strong classroom management and communication skills
* A passion for the performing arts and a commitment to student development
* Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
