MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB: Ownership and achievement of Hotel Wedding and Events Sales Budgets
As the Weddings Sales Manager, you will be the driving force behind growing our wedding business, leading the full sales cycle from initial enquiry through to confirmed bookings. You'll be responsible for converting leads into confirmed weddings, building strong relationships with couples, and positioning our venue as a premier choice, This role is perfect for someone commercially minded, personable, and passionate about the wedding industry.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
* Lead all sales efforts related to weddings and events, from enquiry to contract signing.
* Proactively generate and convert new leads through outreach, referrals, and networking.
* Conduct venue show-rounds with prospective couples, showcasing the venue and tailoring packages to their needs.
* Drive revenue by upselling services and upgrades in line with client preferences and budgets.
* Collaborate with the marketing team to execute campaigns, social media promotions, and attend wedding fairs and open days.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records in the CRM system, ensuring timely follow-ups.
* Work closely with the event coordination team to ensure a smooth handover post-booking.
* Build and maintain relationships with wedding planners, suppliers, and industry professionals.
* Monitor sales targets and KPIs, reporting regularly on performance and pipeline health.
* Manage contracts, deposits, and ensure accurate invoicing and payment tracking.
* Represent the venue at industry events to boost visibility and drive brand awareness.
About You
* Proven experience in wedding sales, venue sales, or luxury events.
* A natural relationship builder with outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.
* Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
* Strong negotiation skills and commercial awareness.
* Proficient in Outlook and CRM/database systems.
* Highly organised, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple enquiries simultaneously.
* Creative, confident, and passionate about weddings and delivering unforgettable experiences.
* Flexible with working hours, including evenings, weekends, and peak wedding seasons.
