Practice Manager – Crewe Medical Centre
Crewe Medical Centre is a large and busy GP surgery located in North West Edinburgh. The practice is easily accessible by car and parking is available. We are looking to welcome a new Practice Manager to lead our friendly team, which consists of five GP partners supported by three salaried GPs, an Advanced Nurse Practitioner, Practice Nurses, Healthcare Assistant, Pharmacist, Advanced Physiotherapy Practitioner, Link Worker, Mental Health Nurse and Administrative staff. We serve a diverse group of around 11,000 patients including a higher than average number of people affected by deprivation.
Experience in a management position in a healthcare setting would be an advantage but is not essential, as we have a highly experienced administrative team who have experience supporting with the day to day management of the practice. Personnel management as well as financial management and forecasting are key aspects of the role so candidates must have experience and strong skills in these areas.
Crewe is an innovative, forward thinking practice. We have strong links with local health-related community organisations and regularly seek new ways to meet the needs of our registered patients. The Practice is committed to teaching and we offer GP specialist training as well as placements for FY2 doctors and medical students.
Hours and working pattern are negotiable with the exception of a Monday which will be required. Salary is dependent on experience but in the range of £45,000 - £55,000 FTE.
