The Team
You will join an established project team delivering major industrial construction works. The environment is fast-paced and site-driven, with a strong emphasis on safety leadership, collaboration and high standards across all contractor activities.
The Role
* Leading the implementation of EHS strategy across all site activities
* Managing contractor and subcontractor safety performance on-site
* Ensuring full compliance with UK HSE legislation and CDM regulations
* Conducting audits, inspections and risk assessments
* Leading incident investigations and implementing corrective actions
* Monitoring and reporting on EHS performance to senior stakeholders
The Requirements
* Strong experience in an EHS role on large-scale industrial or infrastructure projects
* Background working on the contractor side (Main Contractor or Subcontractor) is essential
* Solid understanding of UK health & safety legislation and CDM regulations
* Proven ability to manage and influence multiple contractors on-site
* NEBOSH Diploma (or equivalent) required
* Comfortable working in fast-paced, complex construction environments
