We are looking for an enthusiastic support worker who will role model our values and ensure the people we support lead the lives they choose. All while working in the community and people’s own homes. We support individuals with learning disabilities, autistic people, and anyone else with social care needs from age 13 into their elder years.
About The Role
As a Support Worker, your key responsibilities will include:
1. Supporting individuals to live independently and complete everyday activities, empowering them with tools and confidence for a fulfilling life, both in their own homes and out in the community.
2. Advocating proactively for the individuals we support and their families, ensuring their voices are heard and needs are met.
3. Providing compassionate, dignified personal care tailored to each individual's needs.
4. Fostering effective communication and building strong rapport with each individual by ensuring consistent updates from the office, creating a supportive environment for both the team and the people we support, and addressing their needs proactively throughout their support.
5. Ensuring the safe and accurate administration of medication.
A support worker takes care of the whole person, not just their medical needs. They help with activities like bathing and dressing, and also focus on emotional and mental well-being.
