Role Summary
The Technical Services Manager will lead the Technical Team, overseeing product safety, quality, legality, and authenticity in the UK market. This role involves liaising with customers and suppliers, maintaining high service standards, and managing technical aspects such as specifications, audits, BRC and HACCP compliance, food labelling, ERP systems, and more.
You will manage two direct reports, supporting their training and development, and will be encouraged to explore projects for process improvements. The position is based at the Norwich head office with some flexibility for homeworking and involves UK and international travel.
Candidate Profile
* Degree educated or HND in a food-related discipline
* Minimum 5 years’ experience in a technical role within a BRC-accredited food manufacturing environment in the UK or Ireland
* Knowledge of supply requirements for major grocery retailers and food manufacturers
* Excellent organisational, communication, and influencing skills
* Customer-facing experience and team management capabilities
* Full, clean driving license
