Clear and Clean Operative

37 hours per week, based in Preston

£24,309.00 per annum (£12.60 per hour - Real Living Wage)

What will you be doing in this role?

You'll be a part of our Asset Management team, a range of skilled trades people who can carry out planned and responsive maintenance to our housing stock.

You will be responsible for clearing properties in preparation for re-letting, including the removal and safe disposal of furniture, white goods, flooring, personal effects, and general waste. You will also carry out damp and mould treatment in both vacant and occupied properties, including surface cleaning and the application of anti-mould coatings.

What we are looking for in you

We are looking for team players who share our values and who will put our tenants at the heart of all they do. You'll need a full manual driving licence as you'll be working all over Preston in our communities. We are looking for people who have great knowledge of health and safety standards and safe working practices from working in a similar role.

The main things:

* You'll have previous experience in a similar role, including working to risk assessments / method statements
* You'll have the ability to undertake manual handling to remove furniture and appliances from vacant properties.
* You'll have good IT skills in order to pick up jobs from the scheduling system.
* You'll have a full manual driving licence.
* You'll take pride in your work, with good attention to detail, to ensure high standards of cleanliness and safety.
