Check out the details for this vacancy, with a world-leading airline company, below: Location : Waterside, London Contract ended : 6 -12 months Hours: Monday to Friday (37.5 hours a week) Rate: £500-700 per day through UMBRELLA (Inside IR35) Job purpose: As an Oracle HCM Data Migration Lead, you are responsible for leading the end-to-end delivery of data migration activities for Oracle Cloud HCM implementations. You will design and manage the extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) of data from legacy systems, ensuring data integrity, traceability, and readiness for go-live. You will work closely with functional, technical, and testing teams to align data requirements, validate outputs, and ensure a smooth and accurate transition to the Oracle Cloud platform. Key Responsibilities: Lead the design, planning, and execution of all data migration activities from legacy HR systems (e.g., Oracle eBS) to Oracle Cloud HCM. Develop and manage ETL routines and data migration tools, ensuring scalability and accuracy. Define and maintain data mappings, transformation logic, and validation rules. Oversee data quality assurance processes, including cleansing, enrichment, and reconciliation. Coordinate with functional leads, data owners, and technical SMEs to align on data requirements. Ensure governance and compliance by managing RAID logs, issue tracking, and change control processes under an agreed data framework. Guide the development of data-related test scenarios in collaboration with test teams, and support defect resolution during testing phases. Conduct unit testing and support defect resolution through system and user acceptance testing phases. Participate in data migration framework workshops and manage change control processes. Validate post-migration data to ensure alignment with certification and audit standards. Support cutover planning and execution, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations. Act as the single point of contact for all data migration-related activities across workstreams. Qualifications: Strong experience in data migration delivery within large-scale Oracle Cloud HCM implementations. Proficient in ETL tools and strong SQL skills for data extraction and validation. Deep understanding of relational data structures and HR data models. Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and engage stakeholders across business and IT. Knowledge of legacy HR platforms such as Oracle eBS is highly desirable. Experience applying data governance frameworks and managing data quality improvement initiatives. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills. Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, HR Systems, or a related field.
