Shift patterns: 40 hour working week, Monday to Friday, 07:45-16:15 with a 30 minute unpaid break
Location: HMP Leyhill, Wooton-under-edge, Gloucester, GL12 8BT - reliable transport required due to no public transport links

At DHL, we manage the picking, packing and distribution of these orders.
Working alongside groups of prisoners, the role ensures compliance with HMP requirements, DHL operational standards, and all Health & Safety procedures. This position contributes to the delivery of a professional logistics service while supporting rehabilitation through structured work and training.

If you answered yes, then you could be our next Warehouse Team Leader who will play an integral role in the prisoners' lives, working with a diverse team to support their rehabilitation.
✅A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE
* Operational Delivery: support daily warehouse operations working alongside groups of prisoner workers. Ensuring all activities follow DHL work instructions, operational procedures, and agreed
service levels.
* Compliance & Security: maintain strict adherence to HMP rules, regulations, and security expectations.
* Training & Support: assist in inducting and training new prisoner workers, helping them understand processes, safety requirements, and workplace expectations.
* Continuous Improvement: provide input to continuous improvement activities and support local project management tasks when required
* Team Support: work collaboratively within a diverse team operating in a custodial/prison environment.
✅ ESSENTIAL CRITERIA
* You must have three recent years of UK address history (mandatory for enhanced security clearance).
* You must have right to work in the UK with no limits now or in the future such as British or Irish National, EU Settled Status or Indefinite Leave to Remain. We cannot offer sponsorship for this opportunity.
