What You Will Enjoy Doing
As a Quality Inspector, you will work as part of the Quality department in a shift-based role supporting Quality Assurance and Quality Control activities across the site, which operates 24/7.
1. Attend shift handover meetings, communicating the current status of open non-conformance issues (fault notes & isolations) you have been involved in during the shift.
2. Conduct CCP verification checks.
3. Supply and verify the correct defect test pieces to production lines and ensure they are collected back at the end of a production run.
4. Confirm that the appropriate specifications and documentation are in place and correctly completed.
5. Accurately record data in the electronic quality database system (CAQ). Escalate any failings to management for investigation before the end of the shift.
6. Conduct laboratory-based analytical testing as required to support material or colour changes during evening shifts.
7. Perform duties diligently as requested by management, following good health and safety, quality, and food safety practices.
8. Maintain high standards of laboratory and Quality station housekeeping at all times.
9. Perform any other duties reasonably required that are consistent with the main purpose of the job.
What makes you great
Experience Required
* Previous experience in a Quality, Compliance, or Testing role within a manufacturing environment, preferably with laboratory-based analytical testing (not essential).
* Highly analytical with exceptional attention to detail.
* Organized with effective communication skills.
* Knowledge of food safety policies is a plus.
